We enter the School Cook of the Year (SCOTY), where the team compete against each other for the coveted trophy of School Cook of the Year. There is a regional final and then the Cook goes on to compete nationally.
We also encourage the team to enter the Lead Authority in Catering in Education Awards (LACA Wales) – nominations are made by the frontline team and their managers to recognise the significant impact they have on the frontline
Council Staff Awards – nominations are made by the frontline team and their managers to recognise the service delivery impact
